Transformation: waste materials become sneakers

Workshop 2 is the evolution of the project launched by the brand D.A.T.E., focused on transforming waste materials from previous production runs into a numbered, limited-edition capsule of sneakers. 

The Florentine brand once again reinterprets recovery as a creative opportunity, breathing new life into archive leathers and fabrics through ever-changing combinations of colours, textures and finishes. Each sneaker is thus shaped by the availability of the recovered materials, becoming a one-of-a-kind piece that steers clear of mass production and standardisation.

The project’s philosophy also extends to the packaging, entirely plastic-free and fully recyclable, while distribution remains deliberately selective: Workshop 2 is available exclusively through the brand’s official e-commerce site and in the flagship stores in Florence, Milan and Rome. 

The capsule includes the brand’s signature models, Hill Low and Court, alongside the debut of Torneo, each featuring distinctive colour combinations shaped by the selection of available materials.
